My car is lowered on Tein s.tech springs with OEM shocks
They drop the front 0.7 of an inch and the rear 1.0 inch.

I am not interested in selling my 92 wheels. I keep everything, so I could return my car to 100% stock if I wanted to.

I just upgraded my 92 NSX to 2002+ OEM wheels and I thought I would post up a comparison of the different wheels.
My car came with the 1992 OEM wheels and 1994 OEM wheels.
Original 1992 OEM wheels
1994 OEM wheels in Solaris Silver
2002+ OEM wheels in BMW Silver (With Tien S.Tech springs and OEM shocks)

You don't need any spacers if you are using 94-01 wheels on your 1991.
But you may want to reconsider getting some anyway because the spacers push the wheels out to be flush with the fenders and most people agree that this improves the looks. Most new 'enthusiast' cars these days have the tires flush with the fenders. For a '91 with '94 wheels, you'll need about 15mm in the front and 25mm in the rear to get close to flush. The rear ones will come with integral studs and are easy to install. In the front, 15mm is really too thick to be able to use the OEM studs so you'll either have to replace the OEM studs with longer ones .. or find spacers with integral studs (here are some examples from Dali Racing http://daliracing.com/v666-5/catalog/index_browse_part.cfm?focus=2004). I have these (or similar) and am very happy with them but there have been mixed reviews with Dali. Note that spacers are not light and having them shipped from N.America may be costly. Note also that you won't be able to put your front '91 wheels on with these spacers.
You either need 97+ brake calipers of 5mm spacers. If you are only usung 5mm spacers you don't have to change the studs because your lugnuts still have plenty of turns plus the wheels are still sitting on the hub.

I went with H&R, they seem to have a very good reputation here. Spacers will not affect your speedometer readings - taller tires would.

For those of you that are concearned about having enough treads on the lugs when using wheel spacers they make a lug nut designed to deal with this issue. They are called ET style lug nuts and are available in standard and spline drive forms.
This site here has a good picture explaining the difference in the traditional style lug and the ET style. They will not work with all types of wheels or wheel spacers but they are a good option if they will work with your wheel to keep from having to replace the wheels studs.

Thanks. I'm running the KWV3 coil overs. I'm not sure if I had the spacers on in that picture but have H&R 15mm front & 25mm rear now. Centre caps 44732-SL0-900 in BMW Sliver. $34 each from Amayama.
