Hey, that's a pretty good pic of my car at speed! I'm glad I upgraded the rims. :)

Maybe I should invest in some hidden cameras for future gatherings. :D

Yea Kelvin thats the day you "almost" took out my front fender
on MYNSX .Just think how popular you'd be "The one who wrecked MYNSX" LOL :D :D :D

Actually I would have laughed and been like whe'll we'll have to get those wider fenders from SOS!!!:D

Okay, who are you and what have you done with the real MYNSX?

I might be near-blind, but I can still tell the difference between a 355 and an NSX! :D

Actually I was speaking of the Sedona drive.Don't you remember?

I cant really tell from that pic it's blurry that "might" be an NSX.

Tan, hope to see you out here. It's growing into quite the crowd.

Soon, we'll be asking for a deposit as we'll need to put down some change to hold the room. Figure around Dec. 1 is when I'll post something for Jane. On the menu, there is roast beef, chicken, or lobster. Yum yum. I'll take plate requests at the time we begin taking deposits.

Cheers,
-- Chris

Chris, put Amanda and I down for lobster. I hope this is what you meant by plate request.

Ah, I see what you mean, it was a little confusing. I'll take plate requests when we begin taking deposits. I'll put you and Amanda down now for lobster. I know Seth wants lobster with extra lobster sauce too, hehe :)

Secret Santa gift exchange

Hi folks, there will be a voluntary Secret Santa gift exchange at the holiday party this year. If you'd like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift under $20. We will issue raffle tickets for the participants, then draw names for the gifts. Please let me know if you have any questions.

It should be a fun event, I hear it's going to be a great turnout! Looking forward to seeing everyone..

Chirs,

A recap and a few questions
Where: Wild Horse Pass Casino. I assume a banquet room, under what name?
When: 12/13 at what time?
Deposit: How do we get money to you?
Gift Exchange: Are we still doing this? Any other guidelines than wrapped and <$20?

See ya all soon!
:p

Hey Scott --

- there are two banquet rooms in the casino towards the back. We will be on the right side (I do not recall the name now). I'll post a map shortly
- 6:00 pm
- you can send a check to me at the address above, or pay by cash or check at the door. However, please contact me as soon as possible with your dinner selection. If you do not contact me by the end of this WEDNESDAY, I'll assume you can not come, and will not order a meal. However, if you (addressing the group, not just Scott) confirm that you are coming, and decide to not come, you'll still need to send some money in as we need to pre-order the dinners.
- Kelvin's the gift exchange guy - I'll let him cover that. Kelvin -- please clarify if it's one gift / couple, or two gifts / couple.

Thanks!!
-- Chris

I think semi-casual is find. We're planning on driving to the Pavilions after dinner, and possibly karting at the new F1 Race karting facility.

Gift Exchange Guidelines

Here are the gift exchange guidelines we followed at our work holiday event, and it was a lot of fun. It's up to the couples to decide whether they want to bring one or two gifts. There's no "stealing", but trading is allowed per the guidelines below (you are obviously free to trade gifts on your own after the exchange as well).

Click here for the formatted HTML version (thanks Nik for letting me use your car ;)), or read below.

- NSX Gift Exchange -

Items Needed
  • Raffle Tickets (1 to be given to guest and 1 to go into a bowl for drawing)
  • Wrapped Gifts, under $20 dollars
General Rules
  • Everyone that brings a gift receives a raffle ticket when they turn in a wrapped gift.
  • A gift must be chosen without picking it up, smelling, or shaking it.
Ideas
  • How you choose to wrap your gift is up to you.
  • Many times a gift is chosen based on the wrapping. Sometimes a pretty wrapping holds an “interesting in a bizarre way” gift. Sometimes an oddly wrapped package holds a beautiful gift.
  • Be creative with your wrappings. Do not wrap your gift so that everyone knows immediately what it is.
  • If the gift is in a bag, it must be sealed so that no one can tell from looking at it, what is in the bag.
Instructions
  1. A number is drawn from the bowl, the first person comes up and chooses a wrapped gift from the table.
  2. The first person unwraps the gift and shows it to the audience.
  3. While the first person is unwrapping and showing off their gift, another number is drawn. The new person comes up and picks a package based on wrapping alone.
  4. The first person goes back to their seat.
  5. The second person shows the audience the wrapped package they have chosen. They do not open it.
  6. The first person, should they decide they would be willing to trade their gift, offers the second person a trade without knowing what is in the second person's package.
  7. The second person can say yes or no. If they say no, they unwrap their gift and show it to the audience. (meanwhile, another number has been drawn and someone is picking out their wrapped gift)
  8. The second person sits down. The third person shows the audience the package they have chosen. The first and second person can offer to trade for the wrapped package.
  9. Perform steps 3 through 8 until all packages are gone.
    [/list=1]

FYI

Chris (and anyone else trying to reach Bill) - you better give DollaBill a call, he left me a message over the weekend saying his computer has been down for a couple of weeks.
