apx turbo vs sos tt

Mine sits up against the trunk pan, uses stock style headers and doesn't require a scavenge pump. It's doable.
.

I want to know more about your setup

There isn't much to know. There is space, and you place it up as high as possible when creating your collector(do not have to cut the trunk). I never use pumps either.

Mines gravity fed also. Elite designed my turbo kit and one of the main factors we discussed was it be gravity fed. I told him, "cut my trunk if you need too" but he didn't have too.

Do you guys have some pictures? I have mine as high as I thought possible and there is no way I would use a gravity feed.

I'll see if I can dig up some pics that show placement. But give me a little time, as we have a four week old newborn that takes priority.

Only problem I see gravity feed with turbo that low is what if u r stuck in traffic up hill?

I've tested this up very steep inclines under normal driving and while accelerating a little, didn't have an issue. Placement of turbo, size of return line, angle of line, placement of bung on pan, and using a pan baffle all help to create a gravity setup on an NSX. It's not easy/simple, but can be done.

That's great and congrats on ur newborn baby. Do you have pic where u tap return line on oil pan?

kookoo4nsx thats the stuff I wanna hear! Are you running and intercooler and or/meth injection? I dont mind full boost at 4100 I would prob stay with the 67 mm. But I think its a matter of going to see Will and make some decisions based upon his expertise and my needs. Im sure we will come up with a kit that works for me best. Thanks everyone for your input.

Interesting . I will run a line from the turbo straight into the pan to see how it works without the pump .

I wouldn't run methanol if I wasn't tracking the car, the car makes 450 @ 8psi and temperatures are fine.
But I'm using meth because I like the extra cooling at the track.

A good failsafe set up goes a long way too.

No meth. A2A intercooler. I don't track.

450whp@8 psi is pretty nut on 3.0 motor with apx turbo. What oil restricor u end up using on pte 6266 turbo? And what header u running?

Doc, DC headers , no the fanciest but they have taken the heat, literally .
In the end I didn't need a restrictor for the turbo (pump was stuck again) .
Feels good just by driving on the street, I'm afraid power will come way too soon at the track now. We'll see.
