Applied Motorsports Grand Opening/Palomar run Sun. Dec. 7th

Hey Guys,

Nick at Applied Motorsports here. Glad to hear so many are already planning on attending (thanks 91 X for getting the word out). The agenda will be pretty loose but something like this...

Start 11:00 am at the shop (directions )

BBQ at noon

After everyone has had a chance to mingle and let their food settle we'll head out for a Palomar run.

I'll have some cool techie type stuff set out to examine also. Stuff like a completely dismantled 3.2 motor and 6 spd trans, tarox 10 piston brakes, Basch Boost Supercharger Kit, Comptech SC Kit, see how the engine goes in and out, etc.

Hope to see a lot of you there!!!

A little about the shop...
Applied Motorsports is a full service NSX specialty shop. We handle everything from basic service and alignments to complete engine and transmission rebuilds, forced induction installation and tuning, etc. We're fully licensed and insured, EPA, BAR, and ASE Certified.

A little about me...
I've been an owner and NSX enthusiast for over seven years now. Starting back in the days before we we're an official club, when we all communicated on email lists started by David Hwang. Since then I've completed a year and a half of intense automotive and performance training, and spent the last several years in the even more intense "Mark Basch NSX training program". Working about seven days a week on about two NSX's at a time, I can't say enough about the things Mark taught me and the experience gained. Unfortunately the Phoenix summers became too much to handle so I've returned to my home in Oceanside to continue doing what I love most.

it looks like I won't be able to make it...or at least my car won't.

I'm waiting to do the stoptech rear big brake kit and still have not had a chance to align the car since my axle boot replacement. So I don't want to take the car out without everything installed and aligned.

I am going to try to make it, it's a busy day. Hopefully the Palomar run will be over by 3:30.

My wife wants to come, are any of you guys bringing your other half?

In spite of my best efforts I can't free enough time to join you all for the BBQ and ride. Please carry on and have a good time. Hope to catch all of you next time. Gil

Since we talked already, I'll be brief. I would approximate about 20mins top from Anaheim stadium to Ortega HWY-it is in the city of San Juan Capistrano.

Tan and I will be meeting in Fountain Valley which is way off from any freeway, but we will drop by Ortega HWY and we can all cruise together....Call me if you can't find it.
