Anything going on this weekend? How about a quick get together?

Good times!

But man do I hate street tires lol.

No fuel blips on the way home... Will try another day before I take the tank out...

Sorry I was late guys. Woke up late and super grumpy. Hit every red light on the way to lunch, boy was I mad!!

One funny thing was as I pulled out of my garage, the Johnson family (older dad, mother, teen daughter) across the street were out doing yard work. They are just your average family, not car people at all, just out doing yard work. As I pull out and drive down the street, they all stopped their yard work, stood up, and literally stared in awe as I drove away. How awesome is that??

My neighbors really don't know I have a sports car as I rarely have time to drive her...

Great seeing everyone!! Sorry I missed you Gerry...let's do lunch soon. Chase / Mike / Ravi / Don - you guys are awesome NSX owners, and it was really cool for Karen's bday too!!! :)

Chase I need to figure out a time to stop by your place to pick up the tires.

Looking forward to Poker night!!!:biggrin:

Kelvin. I'd say on your 3rd one go for Spa Yellow.

Haha, you never know. I may pull up one day in a "repainted" yellow NSX.:tongue::biggrin:

Thanks for driving up to hang out, by the way. You're the best! :)

Hi Guys
We had a good time seeing everyone, and Kelvin, Karen says thanks for the b-day card! And I cant believe you went from 0 to 2 that fast..hehehe. Time for a lift in the garage!

Well, I got home, was lazy until 3, and then decided to change my fuel pump on a whim. Car seems to drive fine now, time shall tell if it was a success...

Took about 2.5 hours total In and Out. Dropped it by myself and my friend helped me put it back in... On the ground with just a floor jack. Really wasn't that bad at all, especially since I was smart when we filled up with gas and only put 2 gallons in lol.

I'm only a pretend baller, Don. No lift yet! I hope Karen had a really nice bday! :)

I'm glad you got it resolved Ravi! :)

Happy birthday guys! Sorry I couldn't make it out - yet another Kaiser Silver for mine to come play with!!
I look forward to seeing both of them next time.

Heck yes! Definitely! I was just looking at the Kaiser Silver thread:

Only 2 pages long and no updates since November, pathetic. We need to do something about that!

Sorry I missed you all on Sunday (Happy Birthday Karen)! I went there Saturday and enjoyed a Bfst sandwich and coffee in the cool air. Got ahold of Kelvin and he invited me over to preview his surprise. Hope you all enjoyed it as much as I did...we had a great chat.

I have a couple of transforming projects I can't wait to share with all of you soon...

Take care all, Tim.

Not totally, still a small stutter. Found a dead o2 sensor on the front bank. Tackled that yesterday. Haven't put it back together yet. o2 sensors were original and STUCK into the car.

Bummer, I hope you didn't have too much trouble removing it and installing a new sensor. You sure seem to know your stuff! I'm impressed. :)

The stock O2's actually are OEM and 21 years old, so they are permanently affixed to the manifolds now :-D

I took the adapter pipes off and welded 2 new bungs into these pipes so A) They are servicable off the car, and B) I can replace the narrowbands with Widebands here in the near future easily.

Also found a slight fray in the rear banks Signal wire that might have been grounding out throwing the car very rich suddenly.

Both O2's are now fresh Bosch units and the exhaust is back up. Fired it up, no CEL, sounds quite a bit steadier upon idle. Will wait till monday when my new Accusump switches arrive (current one has a little leak) and go test drive it.

I don't think there is anything left on my fuel system to inspect now lol!

FRESH!

Don is also planning to do some detailing on Sunday/Monday as part of his Memorial Day weekend projects, and I am hoping to join him for part of the festivities.

I was planning to do more projects, but it doesn't look like the stars are lining up for me. I took one of the polished rims off the blue NSX to Wheel Specialists this week for minor curb rash repair, and also ordered new tires from tirerack for the car (I think the existing Michelins are flat spotted from sitting for so long, as they vibrate around 60-70mph). I was hoping both those items would come in by today, however I was told not to expect them until mid-next week. :frown:

I guess I could tackle taking the console and door trim pieces off my blue NSX so I can take them to SOS for refinishing next week when I go back to have the crankshaft pulley shield installed on my 97 NSX. Other than that, I just have minor projects that I can work on (replace clutch fluid in blue NSX, tighten loose center tail light, install wheel locks).
