I am in right now. It is 9:11 central.
The only way this would work is to set aside a specific time everyday when people can log in the chat room and maybe find someone to talk to. If we leave a random time or when we log in at our own convenience, chances are, nobody else will be there. Once, I waited half an hour for someone to show up. No one did.
Figure people should be home around 6pm. Given the time difference, it should work out 6pm in the West, 9pm in the East.
So if people want to chat, log in at your respective time zones and hope someone will be there waiting for you.
I don't know, this is just an example. But it makes sense to me.
