Rubber floor mats?

I am not aware of any off the shelf rubber mats. However, try Coco mats.
They have three non carpet versions
Coco mats
Echo mats
Woven vinyl mats
I have the Coco fiber mats on another vintage car. A layer of woven coco fiber on top and a very heavy rubber layer on the bottom. They are at least 0.5" thick. Not cheap; but, correct for a vintage (European) sports car. If they do not have an existing template for the NSX they will make the mat to fit your template at no extra cost.

I'll probably catch hell from some, but I have these in both my NSX and S2000 and they work as I intended and I can preserve the originals.
