Anyone still have their wine from NSXPO 2002?

I have never opened this. You think its vinegar by now?

Depends on how it was stored, temperature, humidity, light, position, etc.

If you don't have a dedicated wine cabinet/cooler, I'm going to guess that 10 years of Florida heat have cooked it.

If it was properly stored, it should be fine, although for a 1996 Cabernet from Texas, you should be drinking it soon before it's too far past it's prime.
 
Only one way to find out :wink: A cab at 9 years needs to be opened and enjoyed. As for vinegar, how the bottle is stored will definitely play a part.
 
I still have my bottle as well as my bottle that was a gift from the owners of Auberge des Hunaudieres (on the Mulsanne Straight) where we were hosted by Honda when we went to LeMans in 2008.
 
I think I am going to open it New Years Ever before it goes back. I have stored it on its side in a climate controlled environment. We'll see.:biggrin:
