Anyone know of any Track schools in FL?

Number 1 in Florida without a doubt is Chin Motorsports. More members and more events than any other operator. Offers events at every major venue in Fla, and elsewhere in the SE. Also a haven for NSX owners... many appear at every event. See http://chinmotorsports.com

If you are talking about a real race school, Skip Barber is in Florida with their Formula Dodge Racing School a few weeks every Winter. They vary from 1 to 3 days. They are well worth taking if you are serious about learning to drive well.

They use 1100 pound, open wheel race cars with 4 speed transmissions without synchronizers. They will insist that you "double clutch" using heel and toe technique when down shifting. Difficult to do well and, of course, not necessary in street cars with synchronizers. Click here: http://www.skipbarber.com/

What type of car do you want to learn? Doesn’t Skip Barber also have closed wheel cars? The universal skills they teach are more important then double clutching.

Where in Florida are you located?

id like to take my nsx...where are all of these schools located? is chinmotorsports moroso?

Chin motorsports is a high performance driving school club. They don't have any single facility. They rent various tracks in the southeast and you pay them to let you attend one of those weekend events, and to teach you while there with in-car instructors. It's just the thing for an NSX owner who's a novice.

The Chin motorsports site is at http://www.chinmotorsports.com. You can get a lot more info on it there.

Chin Motorsports is the largest Drivers Education (DE) school in the US, and it was founded by NSX owners. Wei Shen Chin is the founder, and the president of NSXCA, Mark Hicks is the event coordinator and an NSX owner (He is also the first responder to this post), I instruct for Chin and also own and race NSX's. It's an excellent start... and primarily located in Florida, and surrounding south east states.
