Anyone has this clutch problem before?

During initial takeoff, the car shudders a little at first gear...all other gears are fine. I'm not the drop clutch, burn rubber type of driver. I drive rather normally. The clutch seems to be a little shaky, but i only have less than 18k miles on the car. I've testdriven other NSXs to compare and they are very smooth. I'm wondering if my clutch needs to be replaced or can I bring this to a dealer to get it taken care of. Anyone with this problem? Any advice would be appreciated....thanks!!

It helps to blip the throttle and then let the clutch out as the revs are falling. As mentioned in the FAQ section here (scroll down to where it says, "Why Do I Get A "Shudder" From My Clutch?").

Mine does the same thing and it's a 99 with 22,000 miles. I guess you will have to live with it unless your want to pay $3800 for all new guts and then you aren't sure it will not do the same thing. If it not broke don't fix it.

Yeah, it hasn't given me any problems yet. I've testdriven a '99 with 31k miles and the clutch was barely working. The car shakes at almost every gear. I've scheduled an appointment with Acura to get them to look at it since I have warranty left.
