With my father's passing this last weekend, our family gathered in El Paso, including my sister who lives in Hornsby's Bend. She left her dog along with food and water for a couple of days and her son's friends were supposed to come by and refill / resupply the dishes. Of course, they friends seem to have reliability issues.
If any of the Austin crowd is close, I'd like to see about setting up a visit to check on the dog. He has inside/ outside access through dog door and even a quick check would sooth my sister.
