The route was similar to the one Carl described, but we took Brookshire exit instead of Sealy. 36 is quite boring and rather bumpier ..

From Brookshire, we took 359 north then turned west on 529, then through Bellville, on 159 into Industry. The church in Industry has a very nice wildflower field next to it. Also across the church, there's a very nice patch of wildflowers, but unfortunately it's a private property.
From Industry we took 1457 to Shelby then up 389 to Brenham.
I went to the area last week (not with the NSX though) and there's quite some nice patches of wildflowers in the area.
Unfortunately, due to a prior appointment, I can't join you guys for this week's drive.
