I am having supply trouble with the dual in / dual out mufflers for my new N/A system, wonder how many may be intersted in a system using a Borla muffler, just a show of hands is what I am looking for - I may very well build a prototype for testing.

Of all the exhausts I have listened to, the dual Borla exhausts made for the NSX (a la Corvettes) was among the best. Slightly louder than the Comptech - which I prefer over the other louder exhausts. YMMV.

The anytime exhaust was made by borla and it sounded great and didn't drone.

Borla sounds good to me. They even offer mufflers in 316-grade stainless! But honestly, as long as the the exhaust meets the criteria I'm looking for, it doesn't matter who builds it.

True; Borla does sound good

But one of the common "issues" with most exhausts when mated with FI is that the inside deadening/padding material deteriorates under wide open throttle use. My Comptech exhaust sounds different now than when it was new. I have seen "stuff" fly right out of the exhaust tip - at NSXPO 1999 demo.

Hopefully technology has improved over the years.

Angus,

Have you considered this?

I have a new one that I was going to use on a project, but never got around to that I can sell to you.

Also, I have used this on the FD and my previous and current V6 trucks with great success:

Borla / Anytime are on my 91. Take a look through older posts from caz-nsx who installed the exhaust when he owned it. I've gotta say, it's one of the nicest sounding exhausts I've heard, and there's no drone.
