Another VeilSide NSX sighted!

The only picture I liked was the very first one in the thread; that looked really sharp. Everything else seems far too overdone, and the rear end is hidious. Not to mention they are stealing styling ques from Ferrari, IMO.. The first thing that came to mind when I saw that butt was 360 Modena, but ugly..

Does Veilside sell the mirrors by themselves?
I saw the red car close up last weekend. I snapped loads of pictures wich I'll post later.

But about the mirrors i can tell you that they, among other parts, are made of carbon fiber and you cant se a thing in them unless you have the drivers seat on the right side like in Japan.

Thats correct but everything is possible to fix. Mine are working fine after some adjustments. However I have pointed this fact out to the guys at Veilside and hopefully they will make adjustments in production accordingly for left hand steered cars.

I do not know what kind of car you got under your fiberglas styling details. My car is anyway still an NSX, but with a new suit. I would never compare the inside with a Fiero. I would never think that anyone else could do that either. Especially not an NSX owner.
You totally missed my point obviously. The fiero is a bastard car that everyone uses to make it look like something else, implying that the fiero itself isn't nice enough. Veilside hasn't made a body kit, to me, they've made a kit car. I think there is alot of difference between a body kit and a kit car, personally. I bought my NSX because I like what Honda has done. While I like the looks of the veilside kit on the NSX, I dont like the fact that it doesnt look like an NSX anymore.

olle is from Sweden. You probably want to cut him a little slack with some of your "insider"/subtle comments due to the different background.

(Pretty easy to "miss your point" with a language/cultural difference, no ? )

Good point. The car is perfect by itself. My first NSX I restored to a more original look and it was the first car ever that i kept for more then 3 years due to the fact I really LOVES the NSX. But im in the fashion business and I have always been week for new designs and unusual things and when I first saw the Veilside NSX I couldnt resist it. I just had to have it! I was even one of the first who bought the kit. By the way. Your car looks really good. My plan was to make my 3rd NSX in a simular coloring as yours. And that was the plan even before I saw your.

I use Veilsides own. Its ending up in the middle of the car. Great finish and perfect sound. You need it if you do not want to make adjustments on the Body Kit. I have HKS on my other NSX and I think it doesnt sounds as good as the Veilside one. By the way. Where you from? Europe or the US?

I am located in the U.S. I build showcars for my company iForged Wheels www.iforged.com I might have to custom make my comptech exhaust to fit. I am picking up the kit today, and dropping it off at my body shop. I was looking at the specs of the Veilside wheels on your car, and it looks like the offset can come out another 1/4 of an inch or 6mm in the front and the rear. After doing the math, it looks like we can put a 7" rear lip in the rear, almost an inch wider than my Porsche. Here is my last project car a Techart Metal Widebody Supercharged Porsche.

The more you study this car, the more you realize that the lines just do not flow well. Is it flat and angular? Is it rounded and bulging? No, it is some sort of mix that doesn't blend well at all. Veilside had a chance to do something really amazing with this car. They could have made it large and powerful or slim and sleek. Instead they mish-mashed a kit together that does nothing more than alienate NSX owners, the only ones who would be buying the kit. The HIN scene will love this car, and I must admit it will be cool to see one in person. But over all it misses out on what should be or what could have been.

Face it, when you look at it, even if you like it, something just doesn't look right. The lines, the curves, the scoops and vents, the mirrors, the tail lights. None of it adds up to a well thought out car design.

EXACTLY. I'm glad someone noticed this. Gotta chime in again with my car designing background...this car looks like shit. Sure its got the ooh's and aaahhs...but it doesn't change the fact that the car looks like a cheap kit car. It is total crap..not just opinion. Its a fact.

Dear Sir
In the rear I used 20" 10,5" with 0+- offset and 25mm longer wheel studs from DaliRacing and 20mm Swedish custom made Hubcentric spacers (200usd for 4 pc) due to the fact that both front and rear Veilside wheels have the same center bore of 71mm and as you know Honda/Acura have two different hub center bore on the front and the rear. In the front I have 19" 7,5" 0+- offset with 11mm custom made hubcentric spacers.
Please note if you want this big sice wheels you need to adjust the inner wheel house in the front. I had to cut it and revelding it with an Alumig. If you want I can send you some pics to explain. You do also need to make custom made inner fenders. The OEM are just to small. Will also send you pics and what quality I used on mine. Good luck.

hey Vince, I guess that will be 3 people in the show scene in SoCal alone with the Veilside Fortune Widebody kit.

hmm I have mixed feelings about this veilside kit the more I look at it. I think its pretty cool but it sorta looks like a kit car in my honest opinion. its definately better than the BRS widebody. I couldnt put up with driving this car daily as the fiberglass wont hold up.
