Another oil pressure question

The second version of my oil cooler is installed with a Fluidyne now crammed in the RR wheel well. Ended up with spray can foam to glue it in place due to the lack of places to attach mounts. Pulled off the side scoop inlet trim ot get more air thru the cooler and a fan on the back with a oil temp sw. I will get some pictures later today. ANYWAY, my question is my oil pressure zips up to 80 psi at about 5,300 rpm then Stops for the rest of the rpm range. Mmmm, my bypass spring or is this normal. Even with VTEC I do not think it should just stop. If you have a mechanical gage, throw me a bone here. My new matra, "it's all crap till proven on the track". Dan

Dan --

Hi Dan -- No, picts coming soon. The baseline oil pressure is consistent with what I've seen before. As you can see, the oil cooler had little to no effect on oil pressure. What size lines are you using?

I have a take off plate that was machined thinner so you can still use a OE oil filter. Stock sensor that takes pressure before it goes into the engine. Dan
