Very very nice. Can you explain the Aqua Mist?

A reservoir(we are using the windsheild washer tank) is filled with a 50/50 mixture of 90% alcohol and distilled water. The pump is activated either by intake air temperature or boost level or a combination of both(AEM). It pumps the mixture at 200 psi to an orifice mounted on the throttle body. Temperature drops up to 30 degrees are possible.

Thanks, Is this something that has to be refilled? What are the costs?

Yes the tank must be refilled depending on how hard your run your car will determine how often. I think the kit installed is about 700 and change .

Partial update. We thought we would be on the dyno today, but after starting the car we had problems with the aftercooler pump priming itself. We remounted it horizontally and the seemed to fix the problem. We are going over the car from front to back making sure there are no fuel, water or alcohol leaks, and also checking for boost leaks as well as tiding up all the wiring. So after we align the car and vaccum/charge the a/c system its looking like dyno time will be late tuesday. Hopefully the weather cools aff a bit as we have been over 90 down here.

I had them remount the water pump and clean up the wiring . Soon on the dyno.Soon after..... in my driveway :)

An idea for a quick and cheap upgrade to your aftercooler resovoir:

Wrap the tank in advesive-backed Thermotec wrap. My resovoir sits in the same location as yours and the hot air from the radiator fan used to heat up the tank something fierce. Heat reflective wrapping in combination with your new ducted hood will reduce any heat soak that may occur. This is where I bought mine:

You better beat me to it. If I've got funds available I'm looking at picking up a white one in the future.

Grand Prix White is the fastest color...I mean just look at the name alone! :D

Your setup is a little different than mine with the aftercooler.

What is this stuff?

The picture on the right is a blow-off valve... looks to be a 'Tial' judging from the photo.

Tial it is, 50mm to be exact. The other is the pump for the Aquamist. We dynoed the car today but only made +- 8lbs. I will have to make some smaller pulleys to get the boost up to where we want.

What kind of numbers did you make at 8lbs so we can compare dynos.

We did about 370 with a conservative tune(to conservative even for me).

Armando

According to Andy, his tune was very conservative also. The car runs very rich. I would guess we will be very close. You will be safer though and I think probably lighter.

Maybe for just the next couple of weeks, just until my new pulleys come in and the tune goes a bit leaner.I was at 400 and change before the aftercooler and Aquamist
