After (what seems like) years and years of insyurance company redtape and BS, The original Grey Goose Express is on the way to Surgery. We are to remove the complete drive train and will implant it in the yet to be christened GREY GOOSE DUEX. basically ending up with a clone of the original. The new car will also house a new aftercooler along with alcohol(Not the french kind) injection , that along with some more aggressive tunig should show some interesting numbers.

Front end augmentation to follow...............................

Are you going to be using Grey Goose for that?

I will have a "Y" installed with one side spraying into the throttle body and the other into a martini glass :)

LOL. I might try Glen Livet 21 year Scotch injection in mine. :)

You found your white NSX first than me?!!? Still looking for my white NSX. The one I found, the owner painted the roof to match the body :frown:

You better beat me to it. If I've got funds available I'm looking at picking up a white one in the future.

I can't believe the roof colour could be an issue and stop you from buying the car???

You guys are just so spoilt!

Quick update:

I delivered the new car to the shop yesterday as they have already removed the motor/tranny from the original car.The new housing for the paxton blower along with the new fuel injectors and alcohol injection will be in on June 1st. The transfer although time consuming should be painless. The shop told me the car will be ready to tune in about 2 weeks with the new aftercooler and injection system. Any guesses on the new torque/ HP numbers?

if you went to the trouble of buying another nsx, why are you putting in the old motor? is it low compression?

No trouble for me, trouble for my mechanic  . Kept my "old motor" becuase of no unknowns and my setup is running strong and dependable. It wouldnt be the same if I supercharged the new motor.

We are nearing the end of the mechanical end for the transformation. We have the motor and transmission finally back in the car after doing a bit of tranny work. We have also mounted the Aquamist pump, aftercooler, aftercooler reservoir and water pump. We mouted the Spa gauges in the carbon Fiber pillar pod and also reinstalled the AEM. The car will be started today and we can start bleeding the brakes, coolant system and charge the a/c. We are hoping to be on the dyno sometime tomorrow.
