Hello,

Here are some recent pics of my NSX which has been in the body shop since January this year. It is almost done starting with a full repaint from Grand Prix White to Lexus pearl white and Carizzma BASF custom charcoal pearl stripes, NSX logo, and brake calipers. The 18/19 inch TSW Laguna's where prepped and painted Lexus pearl white as well. The wheels where painted on the fronts and rear of each wheel then baked to be very durable.

Interior was also painted Lexus pearl white, but waiting for new seats, and coilovers to install next week. I was inching to take her out for the weekend, since it has been in the shop for such a long time. Some may or may not like stripes, but your comments of course are welcomed. I was looking for something different and unique, rather then a plain old pearl based paint job.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks!
Edit - Sorry guys on the size of the pictures - I uploaded them here from my website: Still need to shrink these a little more, but you can see the images better.

Wow, those pics really need to be resized, I can only see parts of the pic at a time!

Looks good, not my cuppa tea but if you love it thats all that matters. Personally I would have put the nsx logo on the sideskirts, and maybe skipped the stripes, but I appreciate your vision.

Cheers,
John

Nice color!! Can't wait to see the interior. Do you have Hi-res version of the pics?

I just look at your gallery and in one of your photos your NSX looks just like a Veyron!!! LOL!

Love the pearl paint! Lexus has a couple of different pearl white paints, what's the actual name?

I had my older car painted Lexus diamond white pearl and it looks similar to yours. The new pearl white (like on the IS250/350 is much different.

I'm happy to see that some parts were painted off of the car. I think if you want a clean paint job you've got to do some of this. As I was browsing through your gallery I came upon the picture showing the left side scoop. Did you take the scoops off of the car during paint or were they left on? I ask because the top portion of the scoop looks like it has some paint runs that merged the fender/scoop together. It could be the angle of the picture so I may be wrong.

Once you get the car lowered it'll look even better.

Thanks, the actual color is as you stated the Lexus diamond white pearl. It looks great in the sun light. All of the parts where removed and shot seperately. I have just a few shots in my gallery of some of the parts, but not all. The tear down of the car took a long time and I was in no rush so told the body shop to take their time and do it right. Hope to get the coilovers in this week and installed which should make it look a lot better once lowered.

Thanks!
