An event like this takes place every year, it's called NSXPO, takes lots of advance planning and usually involves the aide of the NSXCA, and strong support of the "hosting" region. I believe there's already been some interest in doing Vegas, why don't you try going through the already well established channels to get this done?Id like to see this thread actually turn into something, unlike the others ive posted LOL
IDEA: All NSX prime members/owners meet in LAS VEGAS
WHEN: this comming summer or next summer (depends on who/how many are interested)
PLAN: 2 days and 2 nights in Las Vegas.
WHAT WILL HAPPEN: a couple cool drives out in the deserted nevada highways, gambeling, fun, etc...
I am hoping to recruit the help of some of the Las Vegas prime members to give me a good Idea of a place big enough for all of us to meet. hopefully if there is a member there that likes to take his car to the track he can maybe make arrangements to reserve a day for nsx owners.
keep in mind this is an idea and I suppose I will need some kind of feed back to see if it is feesable to do this summer or next. I will post this on all regions message boards but since the event will take place in LV we can all look there for the majority of responses. I hope that works out.
what do you guys think

Roger I belive his sig says it best

See, not all threads have to be confrontational, everyone seems to be in agreement here, with the exception of the OP, he's also posted this same thread on each of the regional boards, and the responses have pretty much been the same. I guess the quickest way to have a NSXPO is to start an "online gambling site" to fund everyone's trip to Vegas, and you'll get no disagreement from anyone (j/K in case you don't get my sarcasm)As indicated above, we already do this every year and it is moved from region to region annually. Under your concept, you might get Las Vegas locals interested but I doubt anyone from further away will go to the trouble of trying to get their cars to Las Vegas for 2 days of drives and gambling. If you are looking for a Las Vegas national gathering, hook up with locals and get a committee to submit a proposal for NSXPO 2009.
Past NSXPOs have offered the choice of either "track + non-track events" or "non-track events only".maybe i was just thinking TOO BIG or too much. which rarly happens.
I am not a member of NSXCA because I was told those nsxpo events were to take your car to the track, among other things. I won't take my car to a track, unless its just to be a spectator. If im wrong then disregard, if im right then maybe there will be some of ous that just want to hang out in a bigger group more than once a year. sorry for any confusion. I guess I just wanted to plan something and see something happen....sigh....back to the drawing board
NSXPO usually consists of five days of activities. Three days are not related to the track; often these days consist of activities like group drives, technical seminars, indoor go-karting, tours of museums, meals together (with great food - well, maybe not always, but that's what we strive for), etc. The other two days are for the drivers school on a racetrack. You can sign up for one, or the other, or both. You are welcome to spectate at the track if you don't want to drive. RPM217 is correct; maybe half of those signed up stick around to drive in the track event, and most of the other half leave after the social activities.I am not a member of NSXCA because I was told those nsxpo events were to take your car to the track, among other things.
