Need some advice on this please.
This is the third time that the lights of ALB and TCS go on together. First I feel, while driving normally,a kind of shock (like you're out of fuel)and
after thirty seconds the 2 warning lamps come on together. After this happened, I have for about 15 seconds no power. I tried to stop and shut the engine, start again but the lights stay on.The first two times I went immediatly to my dealer and both times he changed the 20A fuse. The second time he gave me some spare fuses. Today it happened again so I replaced the fuse and the lights were out when I started the engine.
My dealer tried to examine this by computer, but because of replacing the fuse, there is no memory left of the problem.
In our rainy country, it is dangerous to drive without ALB, so can someone tell me what can be the problem ? Thanks

I have the exact same problem. I just ignore it and drive with extra caution when it's wet....and it's always wet where I come from. Besides, when my traction control did work, I always turned it off anyway.

I would recommend getting the trouble code before pulling or replacing the fuse next time. The trouble code is the place to start your troubleshooting.

Thanks Lud,
I will do that next time it happens, because when I replace the fuse the memory is gone, just like nsxman said, there is no error code. What worries me is that I loose power like when you activate the TCS with force.
I'll have it checked again.

Hi all...

Has anyone figured out anything else about the cause of this problem?

I had this happen the other night..the car stumbled a bit, then the lights came on. Couldn't get it to a dealer for troubleshooting and everything has seem to reset after stopping and starting again.

Did Doug ever positively link this to the battery?

Thanks in advance...

Thanks Lud!

I'll run the diagnostic tonight (big "honey-do" list today)

From past experiences, any idea how involved of a problem the codes might say I'd be looking at?

Rowr & Lud, the problem is, when this happens, the error code is gone.
You have to replace the fuse.
The problem in my NSX is pixed now.
When I bought the car, I had a GPS installed
by a dealer. He put the electric wires under
the stearing console too tight, so after a
few months a wire was damaged. This gave an
electric problem(short-cut? I don't know the
right word). My dealer insulated the wire and
since then I didn't have the problem again.
