is there an easy way to tell if the airbags have been replaced after a deployment any help would be greatly appreciated

I would want to know if my car had its airbags replaced, or if they weren't replaced and the car had no airbags. If the previous owner didn't bother replacing the airbags after a crash, I would want to arrange for replacement airbags to be installed.

I assume this is for a NSX. The driver side is a module unit and you would know at a glance if it had blown due to the blow thru of the plastic cover. The airbag system self tests when you turn on the key and any problem (ie. bag missing) would give you a light. Dan

thanks for the help...it is for an nsx i know the bags have deployed because on the passenger dash you can see where it is bubbled up on the corners......that doesn't bother me I just want to know if they were replaced and I don't know if there is any way to tell without taking it to a dealer.
