Air Conditioning noise / fan??? A/C loud

Is there a cure for what I believe is the fan making noise everytime I turn on the A/C. It use to be quiet but now its making like a whinning noise. Its a little embrassing driving a NSX with a loud A/C fan

Which fan are you referring to? Inside the dash near the gearshift, or under the front hood??

I'm hearing some noise from the FAN inside the engine bay.

I suspect you are hearing your A/C compressor, and it is not too healthy. I would say the sound in not heard all the time, just occasionally during A/C use, correct??

You can have the A/C on, then open up the engine compartment and look at the A/C compressor. If you hear the noise when the clutch engages, then it is most likely time for a new compressor.
