I didn't find related information to what I am experiencing, and I am hoping someone can give me some suggestions.

I started to use AC in my car lately, and I've noticed that it will blow cold only when I turn the fan to max speed, and temp set at the lowest setting, which is 60 degrees. It does get pretty cold in this setting, however, if I turn down the fan speed, the cold air becomes regular air, and it doesn't feel cold at all.

It seems that any other setting other than max, the air comes out normal, not cold at all. What should I ask the mechanic to check for??

Go to the General Discussion and look for a thread started by Michigan NSX---Help with AC please.. It's sounds like you have almost the identical problem---Michigan NSX is going to take his into a shop as no one knows exactly where the problem lies--maybe the info there will be of help.....

I just got a 92 NSX service manual from an NSXprime member today and found the info in the manual for the 2nd listing of 92nsx above...In the 2nd set of instructions where you have to turn the engine on and at the same time hold in the Mode & Auto buttons--it should be noted that you can also stop at any one of the 8 steps by pushing the mode button and then pushing it again to continue--to end the process you can hit the off button or turn off the ignition...

On the #1 check-the air mix door is open-fan 1-low; #2half-closed 4 fan speed--air to footwell; #3 half-closed 7fan speed and air to face and foot; 4 &5 Fully closed 10 fan High speed air to face only and so on. From checks 2 thru 5 recirculation should be on and in the other checks fresh air is coming in also.

Your problem would not be the first site listed by 92nsx as your blower fans continue to work---just reduced or no cooling....

This info is on pages 22-12 and 22-13 of the manual
