aftermarket engine covers

Hmm... Gheba ! I just thought about something !

Your glass hatch is now tinted so ... WHY do you want to remove your engine cover ??????

Of course I was ironical about the difference between euro and american nsx...

I said this because I could not see how it would have been possible for someone to drive the car with suce noises coming from the glass bouncing/rattling as mine did...

Then I figured out that my springs/shocks combo is quite hard and probably contributed to the noise

David, my glass is tinted 60% and you see through it quite well! I didn't want the 100% black as Enzo's one so I opted for a color that still seems stock on some car model you see around

How difficult is it to remove the rubber seal
from the OEM cover? Any problems with the old seal disintegrating or failing to fit the Cantell Concepts cover? Thanks.

It takes about 2 seconds (roughly) :-), no effort involved. The Cantrell Concepts covers from ScienceofSpeed have the same lip for the seal as found on the OEM covers, so there are no problems.

Yeah, but I think it might make a good garage hanging. Imagine putting a soft bluish light behind it and seeing that every time you pulled in at night.

Gheba asked:
>>did you remove the engine cover completely

Yes I did. For some reason mine does not rattle - perhaps because the suspension is stock? Mine's been out for many years, no problems at all.

Removed mine today, YIPPIE!

Biggest problem was attaching the hoses to my new coolant bottle, then I remembered to use some soap.
