AEM EMS N/A Base Map

Anyone know if the base map supplied with the AEM EMS for the NSX is any good? Is it an improvement over stock? more midrange power/torque? Anyone have dynos using the base map over stock ecu?

It is very basic, and not much more helpful than getting the car started and idling.

very basic as in as good as stock? or like it idles and you have to go tune it right away to not annoy the hell out of yourself?

No, it's quite a bit off the factory tuning. It will run beyond idle, though very poorly. My first pull on the dyno put the car down 30+ horsepower. The NSX calibration needs quite a bit more tuning to setup just the initial maps vs. some of the more popular applications like the S2000.
