Anyone know if the base map supplied with the AEM EMS for the NSX is any good? Is it an improvement over stock? more midrange power/torque? Anyone have dynos using the base map over stock ecu?
No, it's quite a bit off the factory tuning. It will run beyond idle, though very poorly. My first pull on the dyno put the car down 30+ horsepower. The NSX calibration needs quite a bit more tuning to setup just the initial maps vs. some of the more popular applications like the S2000.
