Has anyone ever experienced this my abs light came on and the tcs light is also on. When i start to take off hard the car sems to lose some power it works fine if you start out slow . Is the TCS limiting power? What code shows the ABS problem? Brakes feel and work fine.

One possibility, which was the case on my '92, is a bad wheel sensor. I had learned that these are 2 systems are independent of each other and whose lights normally wouldn't flash at the same time unless both systems are malfunctioning at the same time--which is unlikely. However, both get feedback from the wheel sensors. So, a bad wheel sensor can trigger both lights simultaneuosly. I also would experience some erratic performance when the TCS was mobilized. Replacing the bad wheel sensor fixed the problem.

Afriend of mine had this problem before. Was told that maybe his brake fluid is low. Top it up and the problem gone.

I checked all the fluids and they were ok. I think its a bad sensor or as i read in some of the threads i might need to lock up the brakes to get the ABS to work. I will try it this weekend and then post a reply.

may be the main relay issue. when i got my car, TCS was on and car wouldn't start sometimes. When I re-soldered the main relay, not only did the TCS light go away, everything seemed to run smoother in the car. Some threads in this forum already on main relay. good luck.

does anyone know the part number for the right rear wheel sensor
