today i went out for a short drive with my co-worker and i reached a speed of 120 mph for a couple of seconds before braking hard...i managed to lock the front right wheel while braking....it was not a 120-0.....maybe 120-60 and when i notice that the front right wheel locked i stopped braking continuing driving at 60 mph...

It is possible that a solenoid is sticking. This is why it is a good idea to exercise the ABS once a month, to keep this from happening.

Try several times to activate the ABS. If you have wet pavement, it will be fairly easy. On dry pavement, it is sometimes difficult, because it takes MUCH more effort to get the tires to slip than you would think.

If you can get the solenoid unstuck this way, then it should be fine. If not... then ask Larry Bastanza. ;)

The tech at the dealer told me that a lot of ABS equipped vehicles have the same problem. People simply don't brake hard enough, and some accident could have been avoided. In fact some of the drivers have never activated the ABS through out the entire life of their vehicles. I routinely exercise my brake and my engine to give it a good workout.

i found out today that my ABS works which is good..but i still think it getting activated pretty late
