? about RM lip

what is it made of? I was always under the impression that it was urethane, but i hear all these stories of them breaking/cracking, so it kinda got me curious. Thanx in advance

It's not urethane (like WW), I believe it's ABS plastic. The lip is very thin & rigid, so one frontal bump and the thing is toast. They are however resilient to underside scrapes, meaning yes it will scrape, but the scrapes are not visible. I managed to make mine last longer by reinforcing it w/ nylon tape on the underside. I've also been able to use a heat gun to straighten bends from frontal impacts.

This is all true. I scratch the underside regularly with no visible damage. I have not looked below yet. The first day I installed it, I cracked the plastic on a raise slightly higher than the lip. It doesn't tolerate frontal forces.
