One of the things (besides being a HONDA) that convinced me the NSX was what I wanted was a review that put it one notch below a PORSCHE 918.

The cheapest 918 I could find was over $1million.

Real world data point. I purchased a new 2018 in Oct 2018 for $129,600 (plus fees, tax, etc.).

I traded it in almost exactly 2 years later for a 2020. Even though Manheim data supported a $125k+ trade-in value, I ended taking less because it was still the best overall deal (trade/sales price) I could find...and I had to trade in my 2018 for the tax credit. That dealer just auctioned my car at Manheim and got $128,500.

So paid $129,600 in Oct 2018. In Dec 2020, it sold at Manheim for $128,500.
