Here is one of those inexpensive FI systems you guys have been looking for:

Best thing is it is under $200...that is value  ;) :D
Yep, 5+ PSI for under $200 sounds like a killer deal!

And I doubt you have to worry about blowing up your motor...maybe draining the battery :(

This is getting fun!

In answer to 1TiteNSX question:
Rumor has it Comptech was paid (in full) by Honda to develop the SC for its racing program when the NSX was introduced. Rumor also has it that it was somewhere around $500K along with heavy technical support by Honda.

It would be unreasonable to think that this development cost could be recouped, maybe barely, by selling the CTSC as $10K per pop (of which they get ~$7000 from my calc's). The raw per vender profit, unit costs, warranty and support leave very little over for actual profit.

So it seems that the only person who "believed" was Honda who bought and paid for the dream.

We have seen that a shoe string budget operation pretty much ended up in disaster. There is so little apparent profit when compared to the exposure of blown and destroyed engines.

So yeah: Nobody else will build a SC for the NSX, unless it just happens to work on a rice rocket too.

This sucks!! I betcha if they made a competitive SC to Comptechs, at almost half the price, NSX owners would want to buy. Guess I'll keep on dreaming on this one

I'll be dreaming too. I really want a supercarger over a turbo and Jackson racing items are very nice indeed. Ah well, i still have comptech to go to :)
Someone will get a lot of coverage after my car hits the show circuit/magazines :D
