Haven't thought about those Raleigh Choppers in a while.
Really brilliant execution of associating the love for motorcycles by young riders (bicycle riders that is).
I had an older cousin who had a bike shop that was primarily stuffed with green Raleigh adult 26 inch 3 speed bikes (and a few Motobecane 10 speeds, I still see plenty of those old 70s bikes on the road in Chicago) and then suddenly these Choppers shared the space, completely different stuff. I loved the console shifter in between the dual small diameter top tubes.
