A few pics of my new RSII's

For God's sake man.... this a thread about wheels and you comment on my paint.....

LOL well that's because the wheels look so good but all I see are swirl marks now I can't help it. I'm OCD. I didn't know you daily drive the car though so we can cut you some slack. But I might start a "get les's car detailed" fund... Hehe

You are great at group buys so please start a fund for me. I'll pm you my paypal info so you can send me the money. LOL

I am in the high tide/river crossing mode. :smile:This is actually stock ride height with complete Zanardi set up. The gap is slightly less once I drove it around a bit to settle the suspension. I agree it would look alot better if the car is lowered.

A couple caught by my friend Nicholas Lin. Car was not even washed lol

Eiffel, that looks really nice but I agree, it has to go a bit lower.

That's how the wheel looks in person. Lots of detail. But when I try to get pictures, the wheels turn into a black undetailed blob. This photo, he caught the correct color on the car AND the wheel. He is a good photographer. This is how it looks in real life.

And thanks, but I am going a tiny bit lower still. :-)

hmm, i would suggest having the sunlight face the wheels and shoot the image with minimal contrast/saturation. then in post you can add it back afterwords with minimal color bleeding/excessive contrast (which normally adds to/creates the blob effect).

had to say again how awesome/aggressive the setup looks; esp. since i normally feel that silver as a color only works in a more conservative setups.

Nicer pics of your car and looks great! I see your running 17x8 +37 with 215/40/17 & 18x9 +25 with 255/35/18's. I'm wondering if the rears in +25 are also GTR faced as well? I'm running Thom's rear camber kit http://www.nsxprime.com/forum/showthread.php/68657-NSX-Camber-Kit-Before-and-After-Photos Anyone from the GB running a similar kit on the rear with any clearance problems?

I figured the front would clear in 17x8 +37 ST40 calipers front in GTR face but wasn't sure about the rears would rub with either the +35 or +25 your running on your car. The more pics I see the more I'm loving these wheels I might have to get a set... lol

Yes rears are GTR face. No, 18x10 at 35 won't rub, nor will 18x9 at 25. I have plenty of room still. I suppose if you go low enough maybe. I went for the weight savings and I wanted a more square less stretched look to the tires. !8x9 at ET25 is 2.7mm further in than 18x10 ET35. 18x10 at ET25 may rub. It's going to start to sit out at that point. You'd need a lot of negative camber.

I was worried about the camber kit causing it to rub the fender and liners car is lowered in Tein Monoflex believe I'm only dialled in around ~ -0.5 of camber to improve my tire wear I was going through tires quickly over the stock settings of -1°30 (+ or -) 30' once she was lowered to Tein's recommended ride height settings.

I do know that it pushed out the top of my wheel on the rears and I will rub the top of the fender liners, until I raised the suspension up a bit. That was after installing the camber kit, before no rubbing issues. I'm currently running on my '00 NSX-T Volk LE-28N (CE28) 17x7.5 +43 with 215/40/17, rears are 18x9.5 +42 with 3mm spacer for spokes to clear the caliper brackets 275/35/18.

I do like your setup the best so far as I find the +35 GTR face rears looks way more aggressive than the fronts in GTR at +37. Your spokes at +25 don't stick out as much as +35 I've seen on other cars posted. My main issue is being able to make it all work together with ST40 BBK, which your running now and clearing with no spacers. I guess the worst case is I’d have to add more camber and or raise the car a bit more to make the wheels fit correctly.

This is how square my sidewalls are. They are at a perfect 90 degrees.

I have some KW V3's for sale if you're interested! It will solve that problem real quick! :)

Mine are on their way! :D trying to decide on what tires to get...

Let's complete the Silverstone RSII theme... here's some photos of the Hyper Silvers that I just had installed today:

With these new RSII's, my car all of a sudden looks a half inch too high now, hahaha. My JP front lip only clears the ground by 3inches, so I really shouldn't go any lower...

Looks great! What's kind of tint is that?
