96 NSX-T Twin Turbo Widebody (eBay) VIN#: JH4NA1184TT000419

The scoops in the rear quarters are functional... direct air to intercoolers/turbo's. As far as the car being able to run 87-octane with a turbo (or 2), would be a function of reduced intake temp, mixture and ignition contol etc., it is certainly possible. The rest... although just our personal opinions, I agree the interior is bad, and the original tailights are much nicer. Seems any deviation from the 'Original' design offends alot of people here on the site.
Give the guy a break... he didn't build the car, and is only trying to sell it, why be so judgemental?

I really don't see how he's running around on 87 without pinging all over the place especially on such a high compression motor. Maybe he can't hear it. I suppose if he was running very little boost and it was intercooled, water injected to all hell it could be done but that would be pretty lame. Also whoever buys the car is going to get a tune for 87. I don't understand why he's running around with a twin turbo nsx if he can't afford to put 91 in it. 91 at a minimum. I used to run around on 30% toluene and even still my correction factors where higher than they should be. Sounds like he's in way over his head and needs to bail out.

Oh dear. Looking at that, it will probably get re-listed several times. Poor NSX. Back end looks like a fat Supra. A sad end for a great car.

This is sad. If I had the money, I'd buy the car just to take it back to stock, paint it black and have a targa.
