I was surprised how quick the GTR was on the straights and entry speed, but in the transition and exits, the NSX was supreme... it played out like a dogfight between an F6F Hellcat (GTR) and the Zero (NSX).

The backfire effect on lift throttle of the NSX was pretty cool as well.
What was the red car that got left behind? An Evo or a STi?

Yes the stock transmission and terrible (IMO) US gears did alright. That setup (suspension, wheels, bodykit, turbo/motor) can be bolted onto a stock NSX in a day and do the same thing -since we havn't played with pickup points or change the geometry yet. I must say there was a bit of time left on the table since we didn't have our OS Giken race transmission.

Wow, that is a GREAT analogy! I'm just not quite sure the GTR is as indestructible as the Hellcat...

The Red EVO was from Sierra Sierra Enterprises (Former Toyota Atlantic Team). We were trying to keep it somewhat close for the 'show', but I think the GTR was on a mission. So I just kept him barely 'in reach' until the second half of the 2nd lap
