What is the easiest way to install 5 point harness belts in the NSX? I don't really want to install a roll cage if at all possible. Will racing seats have a hook up on the back to bolt them to? Thanks in advance.

Rob

You need a harness bar.
This will give you the correct attachment points.
But they do not provide roll over protection.

Rob, I have a 5 point scroth harness setup. I dont have the fifth point installed but it is thier if and when I choose to install it. it is secured via a dali harness bar. the quality of the bar is very good.infact as far as installing the race seats:
1. taitec seat mounts
2. sparco torinos with holes for the belts
3. dali harness bar (not that big...is not a roll cage, mounts to oe seat points (shoulder points and rear of seat bottom mount point.)

My neck was still injured when I bought the mods so I had my wife install it all. she removed the oe seats, mounted the sparcos to the rails, installed the harness bar and then mounted the sparcos torqued to factory seat mount specs and the harness bar torqued to seat belt mount point specs. she then quickly installed the belts to the bar. the whole thing took her about 2 hours. thats my girl;) no wonder I married her. anyway get a harness bar from dali and seat mounts from cris and the belts wherever and you are good to go. email me if you need any pics or pointers
best regards David
P.S. like that new sig for your posts bro, twin turbo+150 shot.
please post dyno plot after you test it. sounds incredible you lucky sob;) oh yeah email me for pics of my setup.I have high res shots that wont post to the forum (to big) so you can see how it all goes together

Rob- Yep youll need the harness bar to start. I have a set of 4 point Schroth that hold real tight. Although I would like the 5 point, the 4 does just fine, and go for the 5 if you have the $$ and time. It will look awesome with a set of aftermarket seats.

here's a quick pic of mine...good luck with your BIG SHOT (at least one of us can do it for now!)

I will go with the Dali Bar. Thanks. Gerry is flying in on Tuesday. We are installing everything and tuning Wednesday. Have to drive 500 miles, then it will be ready to be tuned under boost. I will keep you updated. Can't wait, really getting antsy now. I am taking a ton of pics when Gerry gets here. I will post them also.
