3m tape removal - eraser pad

anyone know where I can get an eraser pad in Toronto tomorrow?

I've got a mile of 3m mounting tape to remove from my trunk lid because I removed my wicket spoiler.

Crazy me, but I've always just used mineral spirits for stuff like this. What is an eraser pad?

Eraser pads are what this guy uses when he's not feeling fresh. Dave likes them to I guess.

Just heat it up with a gun, and start peeling. Apply wax afterwards. It might take off a fingernail or two but results are worth it.

These are the soooo easy to work with and make a 3 hour job 15 mins,NO KIDDING !

Ive found some places out here that stock them, but they're all saying "nah, not for tape, for pinstripes!"

Ive got my awesome wife heading out to an autobody supply shop this aft to grab one for me.

Let me know if there are things I need to be careful of before I let her rip tonight....ie do I do this dry or should I soak it all down first?

Im going to see which one serves my purposes better and sell the other one.

But my Taitec GT500 wing set up is a nice one; it has a wicket spoiler too!

Helpful hints are do not push hard when using it.HOLD drill TIGHT because it can grab and get away on you.Find the drill speed that works best for you.
It is like a giant eraser from a pencil only spins on a drill.
For pinstrips,not sure about that but 3m tape is gone WITHOUT hurting your paint.Just don't sit there getting things hot(again don't push hard).
No water needed,at least I didn't.
