If I were Big Lou, here’s how I would set the odds as to who will win the 2003 CalCoastal Cup:

Me: 3/1 – My car is finally putting out good power and I have new tires, plus, of course, unlike the rest of you guys, I actually know how to drive an NSX!!

Craig – 4/1 - This ain’t Gran Tourismo, Baby!!, and even if you brought this car, you’d still be eating my dust!

DarkCyd – 9/1 - Stock!!!? Are you kidding??? OK, kids, can you say understeer? Repeat after me: U-N-D-E-R-S-T-E-E-R!

ANYTIME- 11/1 – 400 supercharged HP and still tapping the brakes in the middle of high speed turns! Ouch!!! Ill remember not to work the cones when you are on the course, bud!

I’d have to say that at the end of the day, we will be seeing something like this again!

Yeh Marc, you know how to drive an NSX alright...down to the market for Diapers!

That's pretty big talk for someone who hasn't been to the track for 6 months. Don't worry bud, your not getting slower...everyone else is just getting faster

That's sure a nice trophy Mr. Weinberg, but the big one will be goin home with me this year!

Back to regular programming! UPDATE... SCCA will be running the timing and setting up the coarse for the event. So, no more stop watches and the errors that may occur when using them. NSXCA is letting us borrow the club helmets, so anyone needing a helmet can use them.
Thanks,
John Richards
PS, Still room left for a few people....but not much.

UPDATE! Helmets for this event will be available to use if you don't have one(Thanks NSXCA). Just drop me an e-mail if you need to use one. Only 5 days left to sign up without incurring a late fee. Recapping what it cost to go. AutoX is $55(includes lunch), Lunch only is $15 and a late fee if postmarked after Feb. 7th. is $15. This is a NSXCA only event, so membership is required to attend(a measly $40 per year) If you are not a member of the NSXCA, just add the $40 to the cost of your sign up and viola', you can go! The NSXCA accepts payments by paypal if you need to sign up quickly (address is [email protected]). LoOking forward to meeting everyone.
Take care,
John Richards
