24 hours at nurburgring 2006

I just watched the 1 hour highlight show and saw an NSX-R a couple of times
(first getting lapped by a 911 GT3 and again at the end after the race was over). It was never mentioned and certainly didn't appear to be competitive. I was trying to find the race results to see just how it placed but haven't been able to find the results. Any info? Thanks!

The 2nd NSX-R finished at 27th place, he started in SP6 class, where a 120 Liter fuel tank is allowed. But the car started only with a 70 Liter standard fuel tank, so he had to stopp very often.

The other NSX-R, which was much faster had a chrash in the night and coudlnt finish the race. This car was shown in TV a couple of times.

This NSX-R will start again in 2007, hopefully with more luck

It's nice to see someone campaign the NSX-R but the car is too outdated for today's offerings. It can be a lot of fun watching a really good driver hounding an average driver in the turns. However, at this track there are just too many high speed sections.
