I guess interior is ivory then :) lady said it was tan... she sounded over the hill so eyes might not be working right.

I think i finally sold me black supra! :) so happy.

One quick question. ANyone have expereince with putting Mobil1 10w-30 in the tranny?

I think im going to get tranny fluid changed out right now. Land lady better not cuss me out for working on my car again :mad: already gave her my 30 day notice :biggrin:

I think I'm due for my 3rd timing belt... TWO years ago!

{1991 -> original TB, 1997 -> second TB, 2003 -> third TB, 2009 -> next TB change}


godspeed01, a good way to approach someone for help or assistance in looking at a prospective NSX for purchase is to first do your part:

- get the A-2-Z history of the NSX from the owner (use the FAQ's on 'Prime for guidance); pics, records, maint/serv history, etc...
- run a car-fax w/ the V.I.N.
- contact all the Acura dealer service dept's or other shops where it has been serviced/worked-on...
- find out if anyone on Prime knows anything about the NSX in question by posting the VIN or description/location/info...

Then, if all seems cool... try to ask as someone on the forum to check it out as a 'favor' to you. You can offer gas or other compensation; even say, "hey when I come into town to get the NSX, I'd like to take you out for a dinner/drinks on me." It goes alot better than offering someone a cut of the action, lol!

Why is is a bad idea......? NSX uses normal motor oil for tranny fluid.

Getting a new apartment. Im in california... have you seen the housing prices?! with all the idiots doing 0 down 100% adjustable interest rates flaming up the market to some silly prices. Im waiting for those idiots to default on payments once the bubble bursts and take a big piece of their pie. How glorious it will be! :biggrin:

lol got pulled over by the CHP and the City police. CHP had hardtime keeping up in traffic and city police saw me taking the off ramp turn way too quick :eek: :biggrin: got my first ticket in ... years. CHP Motorcycle cop loved the car :tongue:

haha .... and guess what? my land lady called the cops on me for working on my car... so when i pulled into the car port another cop cruser pulled up! :D

Asked me if i was the one that just got pulled over cause he heard it on the radio, i confirmed his hunch with big grin :biggrin: , he asked me what the car topped out at... i said nothing (thinking in silence... 165mph),we both chuckled, chatted about the NSX and parted ways. Officer said "nice car" 3 or 4 times during the conversation.:smile:

LOVE THIS CAR! :biggrin:

Only in an NSX could i get a 300$ ticket , meet the police 2X in a 10 minute time span and still be happy. :tongue:

100K ... i talked to that guy acturally... he said i could not afford one. i told him my current car inventory and he husshed up. Im sure he can sell it when the right person comes along. Others have sold for silly prices concidering it is the last year.

I think 22K for one with 60K is an good deal with one previous owner and clean and clear car fax. I am a good negotiator so im pretty sure i can get it down to 20K with enough room to pay off a few business bills.

confirm with me that your not messing with me. Trying to detect scarcasim on the internet sometimes is like trying to detected a fugly woman when your drunk and desperate. :eek: both can lead to "big" mistakes. :biggrin:

Ya im a late sleeper. I find peace in the late nights. My customers riding me tilll the cows come home during business hours and my GF does not shut up and i dont get any peace till she is asleep... these few hours between 12am and dawn are my own.

No worries, i work from home so i can steal a few hours in the morning for sleep.

usually takes me 5 hours of straight email answering on monday mornings to catch up for the weekend, then comes the "fun" of shipping and all the other chores. Im usually spend by the time monday is over and rest of the week im running on empty :frown: but with hard work comes great rewards! so.. i love hard work ! :biggrin:

Ahh the advantage of being young.

An old, tired fart such as myself can barely stay awake past 1am. I remember when I could stay up all night. Now that I'm old, weak, and feeble, I find that I tire easily.

In fact I was sick all weekend, coughing and wheezing inside. Which is why I spent so much time on Prime. The internet is a warm comfort when you're too feeble to go outside.

I know what you mean about the GF not shutting up. Girls tend to do that.

Difference between the male and female brain.

Sometimes I wonder if I should have become a postman. My day would be done at 3pm every day. Oh well I guess you always wonder, what could'a, would'a, should'a.

Now it's too late for me to join the USPS and get liftime pension. I've got to work for the rest of my life, far too late for this stage of my life. :(

always here for a good rant.

Im starting to feel aches and pains after 7 month of striaght 12+ hours a day 7 days a week. I started to take weekend off very recently cause im just totally exhausted. The irony is that most people who have the nice cars dont have the time to drive them. :frown:

My supra has been sitting there for a week and a half untouched except by some idiot that hit the rear bumper.

Have to learn to take time away from work and enjoy the fruits of our labor.

Im trying hard to establish a soild foundtain for the future so i can sit back, retire and enjoy life at 30. However by the time im there and my future secure, im pretty sure i'll just want to keep working due to habit. :redface: Just hope i can slow down when the time calls for it.

Even in the rants of a "foolish" old man there lies wisdom.

It's Spanish, and it's spelled "cojones".

It's possible that there is a similar word in Italian; I don't know. But it's quite certain that it was the Spanish word that became a popular term in the United States.
