2006 F1 prediction

Interestingly, according to rumors, the Cosworth V8 has the most hp with 745, Honda and Ferrari is running around 730, and McLaren MB is running around 710.

Who do you think will be the 2006 champ?

I think Honda has a good shot at the construction title for having two solid drivers that knows how to accumulate points.

Driver's title should go to Alonso, however, if Honda get their act together, Barricello has a good shot at it. Same with Schumacher.

From the pre-season testing so far, I'd have to say Renault and Honda look the strongest in terms of speed and reliability. This could be a big turn around year for Honda. I'm certainly hoping it will be!

JPM in the McLaren. (he won't be reckless this year and take care of his race car)

I am with you. I have been to every USGP, but am thinking about not going this year. The free tickets are not the big expense, airfare, hotel, food. It is always a several thousand dollar expense for me. After the USGP last year, I didn't watch one race. I am probably going to the MotoGP race in Cali this year instead.

Even though the race is not the most important piece of the weekend, it is why we all go. I enjoy the practice, qualifying and the total atmosphere as much as the race, but it still pissed me off.
