Hello Prime,

I have no relationship with this dealership. I alway enjoy some down time looking for good deals to grab a nice NSX. I would love to see this baby in my garage, but I have other plans right now. This is just an FYI for those who are looking for a nice 2005 white NSX.

Happy huntings...

I vaguely remember him getting an SUV... I think it was the MDX... He wanted to do more outdoor stuff.... If HotHonda happen to read this, my apologies if I have you mixed up with someone else...

Re: 2005 White NSX for sale...

Wow that's quite the trade. I'm sure it was a white MDX:biggrin:

Two...White Advance & Gray Tech

BTW, In the Advance if you own a Valentine 1, the side blind spot warning feature makes the detector's rear arrow go on & off constantly. The only remedy is to disable the "K" band on the detector. Shutting the switch off on the dash only stops the interior warning lights in the pillars - not the sensors. No problem in the tech - no side warning stuff.

High quality vehicles IMO....

"Unmolested" makes it sound like other cars may be on a porn site.

That's MORE than fair - I would have put it at $80k minimum for Hothonda's car....quite frankly I wouldn't sell mine for anything near even that.

Re: 2005 White NSX for sale...

I've been bombarded with PM's ever since I traded the car...mostly people bitching to me about the price the dealer is asking & wanting to know what they gave me for it etc etc.....

All I can say is, let your checkbook do the talking and leave me alone. With millions of dollars in inventory, dealing with dreamers without resources gets old fast.

I seriously doubt the next owner is looking for a daily driver or a type R conversion candidate. If there's a collectible NSX this is it.

I'm happy I took the route I did v selling it here on Prime.

Steve, you had to know that this was going to happen. I mean you did write everyone to say good bye. Naturally there would be these questions and statements about the car's value. I understand fully that this car is sho nuff not for the conversion minded and that it would be collectible if anyone is collecting NSXs at the moment. Maybe they are -I have no idea. I do think, for what it's worth (not much I'm sure) that this price is a premium and no matter how you look at it someone individual is going to really have to have it to pay 75k for it. It may sell at that - it may not but I bet it's going to go in the high to mid 60s. Just a guess don't flame me. We most likely will never know though so it's a moot point. Good luck in the future Steve. Hope you don't regret this but I bet you do!

Totally agree. The NSX you traded is likely the best/nicest 02+ White NSX in the country. It's worth the dealer's asking price. I doubt anyone else could even get near that asking price for an 02+ in that condition if they were selling.

Steve,

My sincere apologies... I did not know I would open this issue up for you. My entire intention was that I thought this 2005 White NSX I saw for sale was an awesome car to have in someone's garage, and I would have love to have someone from Prime owning it. That was it... A fine car like yours, there is NO set price for it. The price is dictated on how bad someone wants it. Similiar to the Zanardi, it set its own price per the seller or the buyer obession with how badly they want it....

Again my apologies....

Warm regards,
Dat

Steve - I sent the link of your ex-NSX-T to the collector in Hong Kong that bought both my 02 Imola and the rare White 05 with Tan interior that was in Hawaii.

I don't think he's looking but thanked me for the heads up...

Lol... same thing happened to me when I sold mine. You just gotta try and help out as much as possible, but yeah, after awhile it got old. I'm also really happy to have just traded mine in... even though my first one found a good home via Prime, I didn't want to deal with that again.

anybody know if someone on primed picked this one up? I've been eyeballing HotHonda's NSX for awhile.. Too bad i didn't get a chance to place a bid!

Re: 2005 White NSX for sale... JH4NA21615S000150

Hi Everyone,

I've been waiting to introduce myself here on this fine NSX Prime website  but seeing today's latest post I'm prompted to do it now.
I'm the person who's the new and proud owner of HotHonda's 2005 GPW NSX. And it is remaining here in the states; New York to be exact.
Earlier this year I would have in no way predicted that I would own an NSX but then things happened.
I had just finished the work (modding with genuine Honda factory parts) on my 2008 GPW S2000 that I had acquired in September of 2009. Being a proud owner of Honda's latest sports car led me to making some comparitive evaluations with the NSX during the winter just for fun and information.
Having found my S2000 on Autotrader, I searched NSX's there just to see where they were mileage and price wise and saved a search for white NSX's.
So one day in late June it came up with "New Results".
It was listed for sale by Acura of Bellevue and I was taken by the pictures and the description posted. I was also somewhat taken by the price....
None the less I called to inquire about the car nowhere near considering myself as a potential buyer. Within a day or two I saw HotHonda's post here on this thread. I pm'd Steve about his former car and he was kind enough to respond with some information that got me thinking a little more seriously about it. I got a bit more information including some other pictures from Steve through email and he was also generous to give me a call where we had a nice conversation. Within a couple day's time my interest evolved into that of a buyer. If I were to have an NSX it had to be Grand Prix White. And I did want an NA2 with the exposed lights. Fortunate enough to have the means to consider a prime example and with only 24 2002+ GPW's brought here, I was pretty well convinced that this had to be one of the best if not the best of the 24. Oddly enough during this time another 05 GPW became available and was discussed on a thread here. I believe it had 49k+ miles and pics and discussion here showed it to be (unfortunately) at least a little on the rough side.
Anyway I had a few conversations with the sales rep and ultimately wound up agreeing on a price.
I had it shipped to NY and it arrived early August. I've made a few changes to the car which to me are tasteful improvements. As with my S2000 any mechanical mods were done with genuine Honda parts.
Since it arrived I'd been busy planning the work and then actually working on the car (along with life's other obligations).
A few weeks back I was fortunate to be able to take one of the openings that had become available for 2010 NSX Fiesta.
Between finishing the car and making arrangements for the trip I thought I might not post until I returned but I thought I should take this opportunity and introduce myself now.
Although mainly a lurker up to this point, I have to say that I really enjoy Prime and have appreciated both the content and the community every time I've come on here.

Sincere regards to all,
Jeff
