Bailey,

I just came back from Acura of Denville. I told them about your expierence and they said they saw you at the test drive (they remebered your NSX). I also asked about the day itself, and they said that it's only open to dealers?? Is that true?, I wasn't sure if you worked for Acura or not. I asked them how you got there, and they said they don't know, you must have followed the TLs back to the hotel. Is this true, is it a dealer only event, or are they just blowing smoke up my A@*??

PS: You know what I hate about dealers. When I show up at one with my NSX it's like the red carpet comes out and the velvet ropes part. When I show up with my jeep, or VW I get ignored. I know this is just a fact of life, I myself spent 6 years in the auto business. It's just that it sucks:( The reason I say this, is because if I had my NSX today instead of the jeep, they probably would have invited me to a drive event, or at least been more responsive then, "It's a dealer only event"

No Type S versions.. all standard with 270hp. There are, however, different packages like sport package, manual trans, and navigation packages.

Hopefully a Type S version will come. I'm praying that it will later on.

however, it would kinda stupid to offer a 300 hp FWD sedan, specially since their sportscar comes with 290.

True, a 300 hp fwd would has some torque steer and traction issues.
Power isn't everything. I thought all NSX owners knew that.;)
Though I do think that the NSX is slightly underpowered.

Thanks for the hints, I know exactly what I'll do :D

I heard about the RWD sedan for long time, which utilizing the S2000 chasis and it still not showing up...

Come on, I think they really need a car that will harrass those big hp big engine so-called German Sport sedan. Honda should make something that just like the way they make the nsx to the now exploding Sport Sedan market.

These are dealers only events for sales training. Although I am in service, I was lucky enough to be included because I handle a high volume client base. The product hits our stores in a few short weeks, and I am sure you all would prefer a salesperson well versed in the vehice.
Our customer "Launch Party" is here October 22nd. Any RSVP's?
Susan
