2001 with 12K miles on the clock

I am looking to purchase a 2001 model with only 12K miles on the clock... The dealer is still looking for the service records.

Is there any major service that should be done, i.e. due to the age of the vehicle? Timing belt? Water pump? Or any other things I should look or ask for? From what I've read, those repairs aren't cheap and could make a difference in price negotiations.

Check the FAQ under maintenance. You have a major due next year, after 6 years on the car. Also, check the FAQ to see if you should have a 30K done now. I am too lazy to check for you.:biggrin:
