2 questions for targa owners

The roof comes off a lot. You can hear the engine better that way. I never store the roof in the trunk since it goes in a compartment above the engine.

Honestly, I never thought I would ever take the roof off when I purchased the car. I was actually looking for a coupe. I'm glad I went with the targa instead.

I only drive mine when the weather permits the top off, so it is never on.... I store the top in its intended place.

i try to take off the roof as much as possible in the summer. freeway driving with the roof off seems a bit loud for me though.

btw. My bro has an 02 C5 Vette. He NEVER takes the roof panel off because its heavy and requires two people to do it, and when it is stored in the hatch area, nothing else can be carried.

but, my god, does it have torque!.. thats about the only good thing I can say for it.

My top is never on...but I live in Denver...over 300 days of sunshine and no humidity...perfect "t-top" weather...and I never drive in wet weather...Mike

most of the X's here in the uk are hard tops,so i am curious to see how it looks.
