I've taken business statistics, economic statistics, and classes that teach how the statistics in statistics classes are statistically derived [last one was a little bit for humor]. All it's translated to in the real world outside of work is that any slightly complex statistic [the above one has tons of variables] is probably bull $hit unless there is at least a paragraph explaining it.
