Well I've never been over 120mph in the car but Sunday I pushed it to 155. It seems the cabin pressure was pushing the windows so hard that it sounded as if they were lowered about half an inch {pretty loud}. Is this typical? The windows don't seem out of adjustment as they work flawlessly. I would've went faster but the noise got me thinking.

The windows in my '91 coupe don't develop air leaks if they are adjusted properly. If they're out of adjustment - yes, they pull away from the A-pillar and it gets extremely loud. If they're adjusted to the specs in the service manual - no air leaks, just lots of engine noise, even at 189.0 mph.

NSX-T is much noisier than the coupe.

162mph (260kph) with top off. It is very scary.

hope both hands were on the wheel at all times, thats pretty wicked. the fast ive been was 176 on a bike, i would never do it again though

Man the timing of this thread is good...I just did 140mph on the Dubai Bypass road last night and yes the sound coming from the windows was quite noticable to say the least!

Just had this recently, sounded like its a big gap or something but only on the driver side door. I adjusted the rubber stopper on the door by threading it in, not sure if thats going to help though. I'll soon find out.

I wouldn't post my speeds on the internet. JMHO.

Just because I am paranoid doesn't mean they are not out to get you.

Don't know if your nsx is a targa or not... But if so, take off the top and roll down the windows.... ;)

Edit:*assuming you are tracking, not street ;)

Haha...I was talking about this effect this afternoon with some friends. At 150+ I'd start feeling the car lifting and the windows shuddering. Scared the crap out of me and I haven't been at that speed ever since.

I think I topped out at high 140s at Mid-Ohio with the windows down and it was, relatively, uneventful.

Sweet capture* But, c'mon I was 1 over 162 t-off. It was far from scary ! (then again, I didn't tape the experience)....so Phenomenal would be the more appropriate word .... * Oh .. Tracking, of course ;)

Again, sweet clip! Hope to see you in LA soon!
