02R Style Pedals for LHD

It's surprising that no one thought of it before, but we've come up with a brilliant idea. Why not create aluminum pedals for LHD NSXs similar to those found in the 02R? The original 02R pedal requires extensive modifications to fit, which may not be worthwhile for some. So, we've designed an incredibly simple pedal cover that clip on securely with ease. Initially intended as a display piece to demonstrate our prowess in aluminum craftsmanship to visitors, we realized this could be a valuable addition for other owners as well.

What are your thoughts on our accelerator pedal design?

Note: The brake and clutch pedals are standard OEM parts from the FD2 Type R.

What are your thoughts on our accelerator pedal design?

I like the fact you're shooting for easy to install (that area's always tough to work in). I think it would be neat if your pedal shape could mimic the notch cut on the R pedal below.

I'm going to guess that in order to make that work and be easy to install you'd need to add another row (see below) so it would cover the existing pedal (photoshopped in 2nd pic showing OEM footprint underneath and 3rd pic showing the additional aluminum to give it that angle)?

Type R OEM: 13 "dots" w/bottom rt notch cut

Suggestion: 16 "dots" w/bottom rt notch cut (to look more OEM plus cover existing pedal without needing to trim)

You will need to modify the assembly to get the right hand drive version. We have made an easy to install version for right hand drive NSXs already.

Adding an extra row to the left hand drive version will make it uneven and odd. It will also nullify our easy to install method. It's not recommended as it may have complications with floor mats.
