HRE 547 (17's in the front and 18's in the rear)
Hello All,
I recently sold my 99 NSX. I have a set of HRE 17's in the front and 18's in the rear. They are light weight race wheels and in great shape. They have a slight amount of curb rash and they have been clear coated to protect them...
+1 on Zahntech. I had my car into both Acura of Lynnwood and Zahntech multiple times. I have nothing but good things to say about Zahntech. Great guys and good work. Acura of Lynnwood is good too, they have Jon, the lead tech for the NSX. He is great, but the dealer is expensive.

Hello Blaine,
Why don't you consider this car:

This is the gold standard for what you are looking for. I know a thing or two about this car as well. It is perfect, no...
Paint the Advan 5's gun metal and put on the black Acura center caps from your previous wheels. This will make your car super modern and really stand out. The black is too dark and does not stand out imho. Great looking whatever you choose.
I ordered mine through Dali. It was very affordable (much cheaper than the dealer) and it came quick and complete with everything including the clips and grease.
I also replaced my none functioning ABS unit with a functioning one, but it has one of the solenoids with a leak. This is not really repairable, some argue this point but it must be completely stripped down and all rubber needs to be replaced. Even then, many owners have not fixed the issue...
Agreed. I look for parts at Dali before anywhere else. You just need to ASK if something is out of stock when it will be in. I have purchased a good handful of times from Dali and have always been pleased.
I am in for track time. I am just about to sign up now. $300 for a two day event with 30-40 min sessions (3-4 per day), what a deal for a great track. I hope not too many people sign up to lessen the traffic. At past events, how many cars ran in each class? It would be great to know this...
If you call and order through Hoosier west, you can normally talk them into giving you a 5-10% discount. I go with the R6's as they come perfect for my 17/18 wheel set up. I have also ran A6's (designed for autocross) and some say that they should not last well on the track. I have...
You will always experience this type of uneven wear as the rears are the drive wheels. I see this on all my cars. I used to run the tires you guys are talking about (I tried just about all of them) and they are only about half as good as Hoosiers. In terms of lap times and grip, wow, the...
I am at a loss for what the problem could be. I just want to say that you may have two un-linked problems. This is not uncommon. I would check for fuel leaks (very common with the injector seals) and if you don't have any pooling or similar you should be ok. I would then drive around a bit...
+1 on the black. I did this with my Caramel interior color M5, it looks really great. Plus, you don't need to worry about every spec of dirt and thus you can have passengers in your car again. Go for the black
