So so race. I think the stewards were harsh to Verstappen, but he could / should have given the position back and passed piastri after the safety car.
While Piastri didn’t give Verstappen room, i am not sure how the sport can enforce the rules equally and fairly.
I had reached out to the vendor a few months ago and he was going to check and see what he could do, but I haven’t yet heard back. I’ll shoot him an e-mail and see what can be done.
He probably won’t outqualify Verstappen; that is for sure.
The car is a pig, so to speak, and unless Yuki’s driving style is similar to Verstappen, he will struggle too.
Clearly the Red Bull is a handful; as it was last year after the first quarter of the season. I suspect Sergio Perez is content to be retired instead of the meat grinder that RB is.
Nice drive by Hamilton in the sprint race.
Norris was totally off the race pace while Piastri ran well.
Race quali very different, although Lawson is still at the bottom end. The Red Bull must be a handful.
While not an NSX owner, he was one of, if not the greatest of all time actors.
From the Poseidon Adventure, to Mississippi Burning to Hoosiers, you name it, he made it better.
Take it easy Francis.
Without being able to sit down and really read this entire thread, it sounds like you spent a good bit of time researching the cooling loop, but most of the others have 10-20 (or more) years working on the NSX and many of us are technical enough to have good thoughts on...
I own a parcel of land in borrego springs (far east San Diego County) that is someday for my weekend cabin. I believe that area of CA does not require smog inspection for vehicles.
I’m not sure if the legal issues with registering a car in one town, but driving it in another area.
I also have...
Hamilton is at Ferrari and hitting the track for testing.
Father Time waits for nobody, I think he will contribute to the team, hopefully win a race or 2, and more importantly, mentor LeClerc into a champion.
We’ve reached the last race of the season. Oddly, as much of a Ferrari man am I, I don’t seem to be excited about the race.
Looking forward to a final year with the current rules and the possible end of RBs dominance.
Jos the boss seems to be a bit of a handful. I don’t see him wanting anybody other than Lance Stroll driving for RB.
Maybe bring Vettel out of retirement for a year.
