Looking for a 97-01 fixed roof coupe

Then, this blue specimen in the hands of EVO must be one of only a handful of 02+ coupes, probably the rarest of them all, although there could be none at all in LHD. In fact they seem to be rather frequent in Japan (see carsensor.net).

Looking for a 97-01 fixed roof coupe

According to the numbers compiled on this website, there are no 2002+ NSX coupes. However, it looks like Europe got a few of these rare birds? I just came across this EVO review, it features a 2002 blue coupe...

    Best weight reduction mod

Could you please provide a link to a thread where this option has been discussed "at length"? Building an engine using existing parts is certainly not easy. In fact, until Hartley came up with the dual cam drive idea, it was unthinkable without astronomical funds and engineering expertise...

    Best weight reduction mod

Hmm, that's a rough sketch. The heads (and probably pistons/rods) are from the busa but most other parts are bespoke, including the block with is CNC machined out of aluminum and of course the crankshaft. For those with an interest in engine design, this thing is fascinating. Running two...

    Best weight reduction mod

Hartley is now building a 3.0L V8 making over 400hp and 245ft-lbs.. at 200lbs, it's serious weight saving, although the engine may be a bit peaky for use in a 1300kg+ car! http://www.h1v8.com/page/page/1562069.htm

    Authentic 2004 Type R for sale !!

I suppose this is the car that was featured on Top Gear? If so, it's been well broken in. Nothing wrong with that! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lLW-XH3Tfq8 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y0NkQOg1FQg

    Authentic 2004 Type R for sale !!

This is by far the most expensive NA1 NSX-R I've ever seen on carsensor, that's NA2 NSX-R type money. Most NA1 Rs go between 75K-100K, that's about 25-30% more than 4-5 years ago! Great investment in Japan.

    Imola Orange Pearl/Orange Cars

Sure looks like a good deal. Speaking of Canadian Imolas for sale, here's one in the Quebec city area; no price listed. Poor description, supercharged apparently. http://www.lespac.com/d-vehicules-voitures-de-prestige-levis-acura-nsx-2004-LPCaZZ21966836 Regards, Bruckner

RHD to LHD conversion ever attempted?

I searched around, couldn't find anything, perhaps because the search engine won't look for "rhd" or "lhd" acronyms! Very curious to know whether this has been tried before and what is involved. This can't be straight forward, but surely far simpler than a similar job on a front engined car. I...

For sale in Canada with funny smell?

Yep! Here's the response I got mid-February: The car will be shipped from St. John's, The vehicle is presently in street legal condition for use in worldwide, I have transferred full and perfect documents to ebay and I made a contract with them when I left Canada, to use ebay's protection to...

For sale in Canada with funny smell?

Car is still advertised on trader.ca (Quebec region). It looks very much like this one, although they could be clones of one another: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Rare-First-Year-Targa-New-Timing-Belt-Much-More_W0QQitemZ120543866831QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUS_Cars_Trucks?hash=item1c10f96fcf

For sale in Canada with funny smell?

Anyone seen this car before? I believe it's been for sale in St-Johns, then in Windsor, now in St-Laurent Quebec? Description goes as such: 1991 ACURA NSX , Sports/Coupe, 98100 kms, $13200, Used, This car is in great condition. Very well maintained. Kept in a climate controlled garage. This...

    02 NSX fixer uper?

While I'm no definitive expert on the matter, rollover damage usually results in extensive damage throughout the unibody. Making it straight again could be a major challenge though not impossible. It's a parts car IMO.

Time for Timing Belt -- What Else?

This debate beautifully sums up an age old dilemma: which doctrine takes priority, the "while you're in there" or the "if it's not broke don't fix it"? I haven't figured it out yet.

I sent a guy $32,500 2 years ago in july and he refuses to send me title but got my $

Infuriating to say the least. However I believe law suits in such circumstances rarely bring a happy ending for the victims who demand satisfaction. I'm not familiar with the American justice system, but I suspect it's not that different than it is up here in Canada as far as procedures go, the...

Good NSX and I've found this AMAZING NSX hate talk :)

Re: NSX owners are all PEDOs and rapists This belongs to the off-topic but I can't resist chipping in.. I knew nothing of the landover baptist church until right now and after a good minute of the most pleasurable and sincere laughter I'm capable of, I'm a convert!!! I'm glad there...

Why are NSXs so slow to sell?

Good point. However let me ask, what car do you have in mind? Seems to me for 30K$ the NSX is a hard to beat proposition. I agree with above poster, considering a car as anything else than a consumable is unhealthy investment strategy. We have seen many memorable 1960s and 1970s cars...

Why are NSXs so slow to sell?

I'm glad my point of view strikes a chord, like I said this is an outsider's perspective, I got interested in the NSX only recently. It's very easy to give way to the media consensus, looking objectively into the NSX reveals that it's literally the industry's best kept secret. The inevitable...

Why are NSXs so slow to sell?

I'd like to post an outsider's perspective on this issue. First, I'm not sure if you refer to slower sales these days or more generally over the years? Economic turbulence aside, the NSX seems to me rather under-rated, probably because of the luke-warm press coverage the car received over the...

    Interesting eBay 2002 JH4NA21682T000149

Re: Interesting eBay 2002 Agreed. This car was surely insured when life decided to turn it into what it is today, seems to me the insurer would have had the car repaired if it made financial sense. IMO 15K$ is pretty much the upper limit on what is, in all likelihood, a parts car. Still, I...
